Altuzarra Side Table

This side table was one of my first designs at West Elm Kids. I was tasked with crafting a woven side table that seamlessly harmonized with the existing hardgoods collection. This collection boasted distinctive bulbous ball feet, a traditional linear aesthetic, and a refined palette of warm gray tones. I designed the bulbous aspects of the table in order to mimic that of the ball feet but also to contrast the linear aspects of the rest of the furniture when sitting side-by-side. The warm natural finish of the rattan was proposed to match the warmth of the textiles and finishes in the collection.
